Early detection of breast cancer

Attend your early detection screenings!

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women. Frequent early detection screenings often make it  possible to detect breast cancer at an early stage, when it cannot yet be felt by you or your doctor. If diagnosed in good time, the disease can in most cases be treated in a mild manner and it can be cured.

Gentle preventive breast cancer examinations with mild Microdosis mammography

Mammography (i.e. an X-ray examination of the breast) is used for the early detection of breast cancer. It is the best accepted early detection procedure for women who do not have any complaints; its effectiveness has been proven.
Our examinations are carried out by means of digital mammography, a state-of-the-art, safe and very mild examination technique. For further, detailed information about Microdosis mammography, please see Microdosis Mammography.

Detailed Advice

It is important to us to provide comprehensive and competent advice to our patients. During a detailed preliminary talk, our doctor will ask you about complaints that have not been diagnosed yet, pains, family and medical history. If the medical history and examination provide sufficient grounds for the examination, the doctor will hand you over to one of our friendly female members of staff for the examination.
After the examination, we will explain the examination results to you in detail and we will then discuss whether and which further measures may be necessary. If necessary, we will also accompany you during the further diagnostic steps.
